The Study on Forming Property at High Temperature and Processing Map of 2219 Aluminum Alloy

2219 aluminum alloy is a kind of high-strength Al-Cu-Mn that can be strengthened by heat treatment. Its mechanical property parameters and forming properties are greatly affected the deformation rate, temperature strain. Taking extruded bar as research object, Gleeble-3500 thermomechanical simulator was used to analyze thermal compression behavior under different temperatures strain rates. The results show high influenced flow stress result high-temperature softening, hardening rate hardening. According experiment results, Arrhenius constitutive model exponential considering influence respectively, were established, predicted two models in good agreement with test results. On this basis, processing map established. Under same condition an increase temperature, power dissipation efficiency increases gradually, driving force change its microstructure gradually. At lower less possibility plastic instability.
